DBSophic’s workload tuning solution used to optimize performance of Logimatic’s flagship Sertica application

JERUSALEM, Israel, January 4, 2012 – DBSophic, an innovative provider of performance management products for SQL Server based applications, announced the deployment of its Qure Optimizer solution at Logimatic. Qure Optimizer is the first product to implement workload tuning, a new approach to SQL Server performance optimization. Unlike traditional query-by-query tuning techniques, workload tuning optimizes the entire database workload automatically.

Logimatic used DBSophic’s SQL Server tuning solution to improve the performance of the company’s Sertica product. Sertica is widely used by both maritime and industrial companies to manage maintenance, purchasing and fleets. The Sertica application relies on an underlying SQL Server database, which had previously been the cause of performance bottlenecks.

Thanks to Qure Optimizer, Logimatic has been able to provide better performance times for the Sertica product, thereby increasing customer satisfaction and growing potential future revenues for the Logimatic group.
