“24 Hours of PASS” is organized by the Professional Association for SQL Server and features 24 hours of back-to-back SQL Server related expert sessions. Levin's session, titled "Where are my (primary) keys?", will revisit some of the fundamental design principals of relational databases and the controversies associated with these issues. Levin will discuss the benefits and challenges of using different types of keys from multiple perspectives including data consistency, application development, maintenance, portability, and performance.
